Ben Bullock’s Bar Mitzvah: A Slapshot Celebration of Hockey, Family, and Fun
What an incredible weekend celebrating Ben Bullock’s Bar Mitzvah! From the spiritual moments at North Shore Congregation Israel in Glencoe to the high-energy, hockey-themed celebration at Studio One in Highland Park, this day was a total power play from start to finish.
Ben’s love for hockey was the MVP of the evening, woven into every detail of the celebration. From the décor to the favors, the theme came alive and truly captured Ben’s passion for the game. His family and friends laced up and joined the fun, making it a night full of laughter, dancing, and a few well-deserved victory laps!
The day began at North Shore Congregation Israel, where Ben absolutely sniped the mazel tov goal on the B’mah. Watching him confidently lead the service was like watching a star player dangle through defenders—graceful, focused, and ready to score. His hard work and preparation truly paid off, and his family couldn’t have been prouder.
After the service, the celebration moved to Studio One where the party was nothing short of a championship game. The décor, expertly executed by Legendary Events, was a total hat trick of creativity, bringing Ben’s hockey dream to life with bold details and exciting touches that made guests feel like they were part of a Stanley Cup playoff game.
The energy in the room was electric, thanks to A-Z Entertainment, who kept the dance floor packed and the crowd cheering all night long. The kids had a blast, whether they were showing off their best moves on the dance floor or making memories at the Bespoke Flipbooks photo booth.
None of this would have been possible without Ben’s amazing mom, Kim Weinberg-Bullock, who also happens to be an event planner herself. Kim assembled an all-star team to make sure everything ran seamlessly. From the timeline to the tiniest details, this celebration was as smooth as freshly resurfaced ice.
